Turbo Architecture Version 4.0Turbo Architecture is an aid to the planning and integration of ITS using the National ITS Architecture. There are two ways to initially enter the information into Turbo Architecture: via an interview or directly into tabular forms. The interview guides the user through a series of questions and options that result in the creation of an inventory and a set of services. The user may also go directly to the tabular forms to create this initial inventory and set of services. In either case, this information initiates the development of an architecture. Turbo Architecture Version 4.0 is now available free download from the Turbo area of the National ITS Architecture web site. Visit the National ITS Architecture web site www.its.dot.gov/arch and follow the links to the Turbo Architecture Web Site to download your free copy of the Turbo Architecture software. Version 4.0 of Turbo Architecture is compatible with Version 6.0 of the National ITS Architecture. This version improves support for regional ITS architecture use and maintenance and includes many new features and enhancements that are described in detail in a Whats New document for Turbo 4.0. Version 4.0 also includes a Turbo Conversion facility that supports quick and easy conversion of existing Turbo databases, providing a convenient migration path for existing Turbo users. |
