Some demos will install directly while others will need to be extracted and then run or installed after extraction of the individual files.

ACCUSIM II offers post-processing of FRESIM and NETSIM data from TSIS/CORSIM such as volumes served, travel times, queues (NETSIM only), LOS and delay (1994 HCM & HCM2000), fuel consumption and emissions. It is unique in its ability to analyze multiple runs, and present results for isolated and cumulative time periods.

Computer Aided Transportation Software was developed to improve data collection methods involving a Distance Measuring Instrument (DMI). Prior to C.A.T.S., this information was recorded with a stopwatch and a notepad, and later with a DMI unit and a notepad. The versatile Windows program can be used for anything from travel time runs and congestion management, to producing speed profiles for roads and synchronizing traffic signals. C.A.T.S. collects 20-30 times the data as the stopwatch method. There are two modules in C.A.T.S.: the DOS-based DMI-Read module records data from the probe vehicle and DMI unit and the Windows based Setup and Analysis module.

CodeH2 creates the data input file for HEC-2 from raw unreduced survey and office data using free format database comprised of full English word commands. It can be used as a cross section generator or a complete expert system for a flooding source, and creates all HEC-2 data cards for channels, bridges, culverts and dams.

CORFLO is a component of the TRAF simulation system developed by FHWA and it is designed for the integrated urban network or corridor analysis at a macroscopic level with traffic assignment capabilities. CORFLO includes revisions to reflect new error messages. It is also been modified to handle 2000 links and 700 nodes, with some limits.

EZplot Traffic Collision Diagram makes it easy to plot traffic collision diagrams using readymade templates for both highways and intersections. Highway templates are provided for 2 lane highways up to 8 lane freeways for both curve and tangent alignments. Intersection templates are provided for 25 different configurations including left turn channelization and two way left turn lanes.

HCS 2010 includes updated modules to implement the new Highway Capacity Manual (HCM 2010) procedures for Urban Streets, Signalized Intersections, Roundabouts, Interchanges, Basic Freeway Segments, Freeway Weaving Segments, Freeway Merge & Diverge Segments, Freeway Facilities, Two-Lane Highways and Multilane Highways. Quick Animation using CORSIM for HCS (now built in) provides this feature for the Streets, Signals, Freeway Facilities, Roundabouts, Interchanges, TWSC, AWSC, Freeways, Weaving and Ramps modules within HCS 2010.

HSA Software is a new program for conducting road accident studies. It serves for organizing traffic crash data in order to reveal existing accident patterns and develop safety improvements. HSA Software includes accident data entry, editing, and filtering, preparing accident data listing and summaries with proportional distribution of different accident categories, calculating accident rates for segments or intersections, estimating safety benefits, and generating Collision Diagrams.

The iTREC Data Recorder program integrates Global Positioning System (GPS) hardware with most any Microsoft Windows-based PC laptop computer for traditional travel time studies. The iTREC analyzer software calculates average speed, distance traveled, stopped delay, and the number of stops for any number of travel runs collected using the data recorder.

L-TASS is a site impact analysis tool to organize and automate the traffic assignment process and provide HCS planning level capacity analysis. It is designed for small-area site impact studies with a maximum of 10 sites and 20 intersections.

NCAP provides five methods for analyzing intersection capacity. It features 1985 Highway Capacity Manual (SR 209) planning and operational analyses, unsignalized procedures, and Transportation Research Circular (TRC) 212 planning, operations and design.

NOSTOP uses very simple inputs to create the widest possible two-way progressive bandwidth between as many as twenty five intersections of a linear arterial. Cycle length and progression speeds can also be optimized, with graphical plots of cycle efficiencies and time space diagrams.

Pavement Drainage (HEC-12) uses the methodology and equations from the FHWA Hydraulic Engineering Circular No.12 The program calculates spread and depth for any curb and gutter and composite cross-section, calculates interception rates for catch basins and contributes the bypass from one catch basin to the next one downstream.

PMS is a decision support tool used to assist management responsible for allocating pavement maintenance resources. This system includes five modules for analyzing inventory, history, pavement condition, cost and budget, and a knowledge-based ranking system.

PRENETSIM prepares TRAF-NETSIM input files using a simple input process for each node in the TRAF-NETSIM or CORSIM network. Dummy links and nodes are created automatically, as needed, as is all coded information needed by TRAF-NETSIM for each link and node. Phasing and timings for each signal are specified in traffic engineering terms, and input data can also be read directly from other TEAPAC programs such as SIGNAL2000, PREPASSR, PRETRANSYT and SITE.

PREPASSR prepares PASSER II input files using asimple input process for each signal in the PASSER II arterial. All information needed by PASSER II for each intersection is coded automatically. PREPASSR uses standard, easy to use TEAPAC phasing codes. PREPASSR also produces time-space diagrams interactively which represent all phases for any selected signals in the network. Input data can also be read directly from other TEAPAC programs such as SIGNAL2000, PRENETSIM, PRETRANSYT and SITE.

PRESYNCHRO is an input preprocessor used to create input data files for SYNCHRO display and manipulation, as well as SIMTRAFFIC’s microscopic simulation and animation. It uses standard TEAPAC methods for data input and can read SIGNAL2000 and PREPASSR/PRETRANSYT data files directly. It also plots time-space diagrams and displays complete signal timing tables.

PRETRANSYT prepares TRANSYT input files for all versions of TRANSYT using a simple input process for each signal in the TRANSYT network. Link numbers are created automatically, as is all coded information that is needed by TRANSYT for each link, such as upstream-downstream flows and links which move on each signal phase. Input data can also be read directly from other TEAPAC programs such as SIGNAL2000, PRENETSIM, PREPASSR and SITE.

PRETSPPD prepares input data files for the TS/PP-DRAFT program using the same data input techniques of SIGNAL2000. Using the seamless LinkTo menu between SIGNAL2000 and PRETSPPD, coordinated timing plans are easily generated and passed to TS/PP-DRAFT for display. SIGNAL2000 data file for the arterial can be read directly by PRETSPPD.

The QuickZone demo will provide you with access to all input and output screens for the example network delivered with the actual QuickZone software. You will be able to change input values to get a feel for the interface, but none of the changes will be reflected in the results. You can also review the QuickZone Editor by running the included QZEd.exe file, but you will not be able to open any created network in this demostration version of QuickZone.

SCENARIO is a powerful program to create and manage the multi-scenario analyses often conducted with any of the other TEAPAC programs. SCENARIO can create multi-scenario data files either from scratch or from data files of earlier versions of TEAPAC so users can: 1) select from pre-defined typical scenario structures like multiple volume conditions or multiple timing plans, 2) create completely unique scenario conditions for their analyses, or 3) customize a pre-defined scenario structure to meet their specific needs.

SIGN DRAWINGS is a series of drawing files for over 200 roadway signs prepared in accordance with the specifications of the MUTCD. All the drawing files can be edited. The package also contains a drawing file to be used as a base for signalization drawings and another for profile drawings. Arrows for pavement markings are also included.

It performs complete signal phasing and timing optimization based on a faithful implementation of the HCM. Level 1 for capacity analysis only is also available.

SITE provides an automated method for the typical manual technique of generating, distributing and assigning site traffic for small to medium sized multi-use impact studies. Resultant volumes can be used directly by other TEAPAC programs such as SIGNAL2000 for capacity analysis and timing optimization.

TEAPAC Complete is an integrated program designed to perform many common traffic engineering and transportion engineering analyses from a single database of inputs and results. TEAPAC Complete includes functions which relate to complete signal timing and capacity analysis for individual signals, arterials & network; site traffic estimation for traffic impact studies; traffic count analysis and warrant analysis for signals and multi-way stops; simplified bandwidth analysis for arterials; export and import capabilities for many third-party programs; and seamless exchange of inputs and results from all of these applications. TEAPAC is an interactive Windows programs which also allow for batch execution of large or multiple analyses.

TED is the TEAPAC editor and data base manager. Its primary use as part of TEAPAC is in creating and modifying control files or changing the contents of a data file for any TEAPAC program. Control files can be created to make batch runs which involve many scenarios or intersections or both.

In particular, it describes advanced techniques found in all TEAPAC programs, such as batch automation procedures and file management for multi-intersection, multi-scenario analyses.
