Highway Capacity Analysis Webinar Series

This webinar series presents lectures, software demonstrations and application examples on the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) procedures – including upcoming 6th Edition updates. Step-by-step instruction of the HCM methodologies will be provided for each analytical chapter. The Highway Capacity Software (HCS) implements and automates the HCM procedures.  

Each lecture will be followed by working example problems and a software demonstration using the HCS7 prototype. A comprehensive workbook is provided to include all slides. Registration is provided in four sections (Streets, Unsignal, Freeways and Highways) with the Overview included with any registration and a discount for the entire series.

Traffic Engineering Fundamentals Webinar Series

This webinar series is for engineering and planning professionals and technicians who regularly interface with traffic engineering or are new to the discipline. The course is intended to introduce and overview several traffic engineering topics with some practical application for each.  Congestion, safety and analysis are covered, including information on signals, crashes and studies, with workshops using the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), Highway Safety Manual (HSM) and Highway Capacity Manual (HCM). 

The sessions are designed to offer lectures, workshops and computer demonstrations for an introduction to various topics.  Videos and slide presentations are used to provide supplemental and background information with a comprehensive workbook provided to include all slides. Registration is provided in three sections (Control, Safety and Capacity) with a discount for the entire series.

CORSIM Simulation Webinar Series

This CORSIM training provides lectures on traffic flow theory and hands-on software applications using TSIS-CORSIM. Version 6 implements arterial and freeway simulation, including the TSIS Next graphical input editor and the TRAFVU animation module. Each lecture includes software demonstrations and opportunities for students to use different components of the software. Participants are encouraged to have TSIS installed for hands-on practice. A comprehensive workbook is provided with the course.
