This one-day training course provides lectures and workshops on the application of the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM 2010) procedures and use of the Highway Capacity Software (HCS 2010) for the operational analysis of intersections. The analytical procedures for Two-Way Stop Control, All-Way Stop Control, Roundabouts, Signalized Intersections and Urban Streets are presented step-by-step from beginning to end, including working through example problems.

The workshop provides an overview and technical information on the HCM 2010. Special attention will be given to those procedures that changed most, including Signalized Intersections, Urban Streets, Roundabouts and Freeway Weaving. The Highway Capacity Software (HCS 2010) will be demonstrated to illustrate the new features being implemented in this new version. The cost of the workshop is $150 with access to the video for 30 days including questions you might have for the instructor via email or phone. A workbook of all the slides is provided and a certificate to document PDHs will be sent upon completion. (6 PDHs) $150 per person
