HCS2000 New Features

HCS2000 comprises a complete new release of the HCS in which modules are upgraded to incorporate procedures in both US and metric units to faithfully implement the HCM2000.

 



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • HCS2000 is distributed by McTrans as an office license which covers all computers in each local office, without having to license each machine.

  • HCS2000 comes with full maintenance and technical support from a staff of experts who have been providing this high level of assistance since 1988.

  • HCS2000 provides dynamic reports in an adjacent window to reflect results immediately as data entries are modified.

  • HCS2000 introduces global spinners in the Signals and Unsignal modules to facilitate sensitivity analyses by automating volume incrementing by specified percentages.

HCS2000 introduces new interactive, formatted reports that produce forms like the HCM2000 worksheets.  These web-like reports will react to data entry and modifications, and produce dynamic results in the appropriate fields, right on the forms.  Printing is handled like any web page, offering additional control and flexibility.

    HCS2000 provides access to a methodology for the estimation and optimization of actuated and pretimed traffic signal timing. This process is based on input data from HCS2000-Signals input data from the SOAP2K screen.

    Note that if traffic signal timing estimation is performed, the original timing plan within HCS2000-Signals is subject to being replaced by the updated timing plan.
